Summary
The seek-based method used in V1 (with FFMPEG) was inaccurate for frames before Version 2 (June 18th, 2025). In V2, the script was rebuilt using Vapoursynth and FFMPEG for more reliable frame extraction. In addition, V2 now allows the collection of clips from scenes, not just individual frames. (Which is originally how I discovered the frame inaccuracy)
Key points
